So, you want to participate in Hulkageddon? That’s great!
Participating is both simple and easy, all you need to do is register your API key with eve-kill.net!
Just visit this page and follow the instructions: http://eve-kill.net/?a=apikey
This will automatically pull the relevant killmails to the EVE-kill database, and out handy and amazing technological mojo will in turn harvest the relevant killmails to put into our own database.
Goonswarm — Champions of the Common Suicide Bomber
As you might have heard, Goonswarm is a new sponsor of Hulkageddon this year, offering a bounty of 100 million ISK each time a single person kills ten hulks or mackinaws. This bounty provides incentive to the casual jihadist and small-time pirate; even those who cannot compete for the large Hulkageddon prizes are welcome to participate and get paid for their efforts.
To claim your bounties:
1. Make sure that every killmail you receive for a Hulk or Mackinaw is posted to the eve-kill.net killboard properly. Like the rest of Hulkageddon, these killmails are tracking by which pilot acquires the killing blow, so you should only need to track killmails which you receive in-game.
2. Kill 10 Hulks or Mackinaws and post all of their killmails, and our automatic tracking systems will forward your name to Goonswarm’s finance team, who will pay out your bounty!
3. Wait 2-3 days and the 100M ISK will be sent to the character who filed the 10 killmails. Through voodoo magic, your name will be added to the chart of bounty-earning characters on the Hulkageddon tracking pages at http://hulkageddon.goonswarm.com/.

Tips:
- The newly buffed Destroyers and the new Tier 3 BSs do incredible amounts of damage, a single Destroyer can decimate a mackinaw with ease.
- Use an alt in a mining frigate with a ship scanner to locate barges with expensive modules for a better return on your investment
- If you have the money and skills, using a smartbombing battleship correctly can get you a lot of kills in very little time. Last year’s winner killed hundreds of miners by himself
- Payouts and prizes are determined by killing blow, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t team up with some buddies and split the cash!
- There are quite a few threads where you can find tips on ganking on the Crime and Punishment section of the EVE-online forums, also feel free to post any questions you may have about how to do it there, you’re sure to get an answer.
