The rules:
For the purposes of all prizes other than the junior league prize, only the following ships count:
- Hulk
- Mackinaw
- Skiff
- Orca
You must register an API key on EVE-kill.net which will serve as our killboard for the event this year. Failure to do so, and only posting manually may lead to being disqualified for your prize money.
All running totals are based on killing blows, while we realize this can be a bit random, it is the easiest way to tally kills for us.
For every TEN killing blows on an Exhumer or Orca you score, Goonswarm will automatically receive an internal message to pay you your bounty prize of 100 million isk. Please allow for up to 48hours before payment.
We reserve the right to amend the rules if need be, though we will endeavour to keep things loose and fun.

Do Barges kills from blowing apart WH POS count? Or do the barges have to have pilots in them?
I know its a two day thing to get into the juicy center of POS kill goodness….but most POS kills yield a dozens of barge kills. So in a couple hours across two days, I figure my buddies and I can rack up quite a count given how many WH POS are unattended.
there needs to be a killmail, is really the only prerequisite.
So my charachter ( OoziePrime ) got some kills and they are api verified and all that jazz but they are not showing up on the leaderboards. Will they be put on the leaderboard later? (the people i was flying with got KM and theirs DID get put up to the leaderboards)
Yes, we are still experiencing a few glitches with the EVE-kill api feed. But if your kills are up on there, they will eventually appear here, nothing is lost
Alrighty, Thanks for your quick reply! =)
incidentally, I see our guys are working on it now, you appear in the top killer list on the development server. So it should be fixed soonish
Given that Goonswarm is sponsoring the prizes, will they give out isk if we kill Goon Hulks/Skiffs in Deklein?
Yup, they count! The same as everyone
You really need to upscale participation with some corporation prizes (tiny, small, medium. large). Corporations could really do some damage even if individually their pilots are not so hot at ganking. Probably have to bar members in smaller divisions from also competing for individual prizes. Maybe next year huh.
LOL – you could even have tiny and small alliance categories for next Hulkageddon. Probably have to bar corps over certain size as well as limiting alliance member count by category.
used to be corp-based, but that was really not very fair to the majority of competitors
